2. Hosting and server log files
This website is hosted as a static website by Vercel Inc., 340 S Lemon Ave #4133, Walnut, CA 91789, USA. When you visit the site, technically necessary data (IP address, date and time, page requested, browser type) is processed in server log files. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (secure and stable operation). The log files are stored only for a short period and then deleted automatically. Vercel is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, so any transfer to the USA is covered by an adequacy decision of the EU Commission (Art. 45 GDPR).
3. Cookies and consent
On your first visit, a consent banner asks whether you want to allow optional services. Without your consent, no tracking cookies are set and no analytics services are loaded. Your choice and your settings (language, animations) are stored exclusively locally in your browser and are not transmitted to us. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time in the website settings.
4. Google Analytics 4
Only if you have given your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) do we use Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to statistically evaluate the use of the website (e.g. pages visited, time spent, approximate region). IP addresses are processed in truncated form only; advertising features and Google Signals are disabled. Data may be transferred to Google LLC in the USA; Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future in the website settings.
5. Fonts
The fonts used are loaded from our own server. No connection to Google's servers is made.
6. Contact form
If you reach us via the contact form on this website, we process the details you enter (name, phone number, email address, vehicle, message, time of the enquiry) to handle your enquiry or to arrange an appointment. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (handling an enquiry prior to, or as part of, a contract). The form sends your details by email through our email provider STRATO AG, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin, Germany, to our workshop's mailbox. We keep your data only for as long as needed to handle your enquiry, and beyond that only to the extent required by statutory retention obligations. If you provided an email address, you will also receive an automatic confirmation email for your enquiry.
If you contact us by phone or directly by email instead, the above applies accordingly to the details you provide that way.
7. WhatsApp
If you write to us via WhatsApp, the privacy policy of WhatsApp Ireland Ltd. (Meta) also applies. Data may be transferred to third countries in this process. Alternatively, feel free to use phone or email.
8. Google Maps
The map on this website is only loaded from Google Ireland Ltd. after you click "Load map". Only then is data (including your IP address) transmitted to Google (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, consent). Data may be transferred to the USA in this process; Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Links to Google Maps lead to external Google pages.
9. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection (Art. 15–21 GDPR), the right to withdraw any consent you have given at any time with effect for the future (Art. 7(3) GDPR), and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority; for Brandenburg: the Brandenburg Data Protection and Right to Access Files Commissioner (Landesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz und für das Recht auf Akteneinsicht Brandenburg).
